WATER PROJECT UPDATES

At this time, construction crews are working
on the east side of town. Crews are working in the area from 3rd
Street to Broadway along 4th Avenue. After this is complete, they
will be moving to Broadway and portions of Oak Street. They will
also be working on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Avenues between Broadway
and Oak Street. Detailed maps can be viewed at the City Office
and Post Office.
Prior to construction, contractors will go door
to door to advise residents of the digging and installation of
temperary water lines to you property. This process can take a
day or two depending on how many services are replaced. Please
note, some driveways or alleyways may be blocked during construction.
Residents are asked to use their best judgement as to moving vehicles
so they are not blocked.
Also, WATER CAN AND MAY BE SHUT OFF
AT ANY TIME IN ANY AREA AND WITHOUT NOTICE. EACH RESIDENT IS ASKED
TO STORE WATER IN CASE OF A SHUT OFF.
Weather permiting, crews may be working early in the morning and late into the evening and including Saturdays. As new information is provided, updates will be given. Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience during construction.
